Abstract
Atomis has closed a $31M Series B round led by Lux Capital, with participation from existing investors Andreessen Horowitz and Breakthrough Energy Ventures. The funding brings total raised to $47.2M since founding in 2021.
The capital will be deployed across three priorities: expanding our London autonomous lab facility to support European research programs, opening a Singapore office to serve APAC biotech teams, and growing our core research and engineering teams from 62 to 100 people by end of 2024.
"We've proved the model works — 200+ validated discoveries, 95% prediction accuracy, 18-month timelines. Now we're building the infrastructure to do this at the scale the problem deserves."
Dr. Sarah Chen
Co-Founder & CEO, Atomis
The Series B comes at a pivotal moment for AI-assisted scientific discovery.
Demand from pharmaceutical and biotech companies for validated, reproducible discovery pipelines has grown significantly, with procurement teams increasingly seeking platforms that can demonstrate accuracy through published, peer-reviewed methodology rather than internal benchmarks.
